I Haven't Forgotten

Ok, so i know it's been over a month since I last posted but I have not forgotten about my few followers. We have been extremely busy this last month. Here's a breakdown:

• We had Bible School at Church one week and had a blast but was secretly ready for the end because it wore me out SO bad. I helped teach the two, three and four year olds. We had at least 8 to 10 kids every night. They were such a blessing.
• My mother-in-law has been in the hospital for a month and a half. She's doing better now but it was touch and go for a while. Thanks for the prayers everyone.
• Tim started working 12 hour swing shifts (which I hate by the way). It was that or go to third shift. He works every other weekend which is better than working every weekend like it was before but it's 12 hours which sometimes leaves me feeling like a single parent.

I will do better from now on, I promise.

Surprise!

Mason came up to me when we were working outside the other day and said "Moma, I got you a surprise". These days you just never know if that's a good thing or not. Sometimes its a worm or rock and other times it might be a stick. This particular time this is what he had.



A FLOWER! According to Mason anyways. It's actually just a weed but I couldn't break my son's heart and he was so precious when he gave it to me. So what did I do. I took it inside and put it in water so that it can grow. :)

Lake Winnepesaukah

Yesterday we took a trip to Lake Winnie with our Church Youth Group. We had a great time.

Helping Daddy

Here's some pictures I had to share of Mason. Last night Tim was working on his motor he bought and Mason came running in and said he was going to help. By the time he went back out to the garage this is what he looked like. So cute. He's Daddy's little helper. :)

Happy Mother's Day!

I am so blessed to be a Mommy. Since I was little it was something I knew I wanted to be. I've always loved kids. The day I found out I was pregnant with my son was one of the most special days of my life. I was so overjoyed. We went through a lot in those nine months and the labor was difficult but once I saw those chubby little cheeks and huge eyes I fell in love completely and forgot all about everything I had went through to get him into this world. He is a great little boy. I love his laugh and his quirky little humor. His hugs and kisses make me forget what is wrong in the day. I love you , Mason.

For Mother's Day Mason got me a silver necklace that has his picture on the charm. I'm wearing it in the pictures but its hard to see it.

Mason climbed in the bed with us at about 3:00 this morning which is something he hasn't done in over a year. The first thing he said to me was "I love you, Moma". Who cares if I got woken up at three in the morning. I would wake up early every morning to hear those four little words come out of his mouth because I know as he gets older I will hear them less and less because he will have his own life and it will not be "cool". So as for now, I will cherish these moments.

Mason's 3 Year Pictures

When Mason had his birthday back in February I took him to get his 3 year pictures made and it was a disaster. He wouldn't stand and let them take his picture so we left with nothing. I decided I would just take my own pictures so here is what I got.

We don't use these very much now, just at night as he can't wake up yet when he needs to go to the bathroom. I'm fine with him wearing them at night though as long as he's using the potty during the day.
